On Wednesday 27th of JAN 2010, 23 people from 10 different companies and organizations launched OpenAirlines-led Clean Sky project CARING (Contribution of Airlines for the Reduction of Industry Nuisances and Gases) on the campus of ENAC in Toulouse, France.
During two years, these partners will invest 1M€ on improving the environmental impact of airlines and assessing its economic consequences.

The CARING consortium (Contribution of Airlines for the Reduction of Industry Nuisances and Gases) contains 9 partners: airlines, airline associations, companies or universities (Airlinair, ENAC, FNAM, Envisa, Icon, Transavia, SustainAvia and TUI Group) and has commited to invest 1M€ in research on development.
